Snowed In

February 12, 2022 — A small snowstorm came through and snowed me into my driveway. Sadly, I was unable to safely leave for the photoshoot that I had planned for the day. Instead, I explored my house and backyard for a creative exercise: looking for dreaminess and softness only thirty seconds from my front door. The result was a small collection of seven images which you can view (for a short time) here. I chose to display the project on my projects page rather than here in the blog post. The main reason was to help fill out my website portfolio while I work on building images for my long-term projects. However, I also realized when I upload photographs in blog posts they don’t give me the right options for aspect ratios making it impossible to have both landscape and portrait photos on each post. So I am considering making temporarily available mini-projects a more frequent thing. Not every shoot of course, but shoots where I feel like I can find a strong theme between 5-10 images. I’ll keep them up for a couple of weeks to a month or so, and then remove them.

I am actually really proud of what I pulled together for this small, personal, and accidental collection. Please give the page a visit, I hope you enjoy.
